EPISODE ONE (9/19/15)

SUMMARY:  In this doo-wop take on King Lear, Larry, the head of  conquering doo-wop group the Mustang Originals, is ready to divide his estate between his three daughters, Gina, Carla and his favorite, Carla. But Carla finds herself unable to flatter her father as her sisters do, and so the vainglorious Larry divides what was to be her share among her sisters. New guy Eddie risks his place in the group to warn Larry that he'll regret his decision. However, Carla isn't going anywhere just yet; they need her to sing lead in an upcoming show. Larry thinks Carla's going to demand something in exchange, but Carla stays with the group because she genuinely loves her poppa.

She confides in him that she's got a plan to have Larry committed to a nursing home; Phil, the nice man from the nursing home arrives, and may have more than he bargained for with Larry. However, her plans are interfered with by Gary, who knows about the affair and blackmails her for control of the malt shoppe - and sexual favors. EPISODE FIVE (10/17/15)

SUMMARY:  An angry Corny forcefully reminds Rhonda that she's still his old lady, and her dalliances with Gary had better be strictly business. A distraught Larry realizes that he's made a mistake by throwing away Carla's love so cavalierly, and escapes the nursing home to try to find his daughter. Meanwhile, Carla seeks help from her godmother Louella, leader of doo-wop group the Cherokee Stacks, asking them to join her. Louella, who owes a debt to Carla's late mother, is reluctant at first, but when she sees that Carla and her group have chops, she agrees to the "patch," and the groups join forces. However, later that night, Grease is ambushed and his eyes are gouged out...

EPISODE SIX (11/14/15)

SUMMARY:  A blind Grease leads his people in song, while a deranged Larry - looked after by Phil - thinks he's back in the doo-wop wars of '64. Gina's getting frustrated with Al and misses Corny, who she hasn't seen in a while. Rhonda is also pinning her hopes on Corny as Gary treats her harshly, but Gary says to forget about Corny - Gary's her new sponsor. Meanwhile, Carla warns Eddie, who is Grease's son, not to go seeking vengeance on his own.

EPISODE SEVEN (4/16/16) - PLAYOFFS ROUND 1!

SUMMARY:  Phil breaks the fourth wall to fill us in on Larry's early days. Each of his daughters were born of a different mother, as Larry was quite the ladies' man. But Carla's mother, Gloria, was different. He truly loved her, but she died young just a couple of years after he met her. As the sisters grew, Carla was always the favored one, being named lead singer of the Mustang Originals, much to her sisters' jealousy. And then came the day that started off this story, when Larry decided to step down as leader of the Mustangs and apportion his kingdom to his daughters proportionally to their love for him...

EPISODE EIGHT (4/23/16) - PLAYOFFS ROUND 2!

SUMMARY:  While Larry's still stuck in his flashback to the Doo Wop Wars of '64 as a storm rages around him and Phil, Corny tells Gina they need to wait until he deals with Carla before she can dump Al and they can be together. Elsewhere, Georgia asks Eddie to decide between her and Carla, but Eddie won't make a play for Carla while she's Club President. And Carla ignores K-Ten's advice not to let Eddie dangle. Carla tries out a new sax player, Chops, who bolsters the group's already formidable musical power. Meanwhile, Corny and Gina meet Jeff, a dweeby new recruit, but Jeff's scandalized when he learns that they're going against Corny's brother's "old lady," and kills Corny in a fight. Gina holds him as he bleeds out, while Larry continues to rave in the storm.
